STREET
TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY AND STREET
Along with my professional career, I have developed a street and travel photography project. What started as a Social Network profile called Zaragoza Walkers that currently has 25000 followers, has grown to the point of covering several cities around the world. This doesn’t only allow me to know different cultures but also to enjoy one of my biggest passions: taking pictures of humans, what they eat, where they live, the streets they walk along, where they rest, how they practice sport, which cars they drive…
For travel photography I recommend using mirrorless cameras because they are usually more lightweight and manageable. During these years, I have worked with different Fuji X system cameras, such as X100F that has a fixed 23 mm objective. I have also used the XT-2 and Nikon Z6, both having exchangeable lenses. As a complement, I carry a couple of fixed lenses that enable me to cover a fair focal length and also give the possibility to shoot comfortably in poorly lit atmospheres. Carrying several lenses may make you hesitate at the time to take the picture. However, I think it is important to be able to adapt yourself to the situation according to the lens you have on your camera.
During these years, I have been able to work with some agencies and institutions. This is, undoubtedly, one of my favorite parts of the job.
In December 2019, I published the book "Zaragoza Walkers: 5 years of life on the street.”. You can get it here.
